Job description

Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for building and managing customer relationships, generating new business, and driving revenue growth for Crown Industrial Services, Inc. across our core service lines: precision cleaning, metal finishing, dunnage and parts washing, washing systems, and cleanliness testing. This is a revenue-producing role focused on pipeline generation, account reactivation, follow-up, and supporting outside sales. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and is a key member of the sales organization.

Duties

  • Execute a structured 30/60/90-day quote follow-up cadence.
  • Work with outside sales on there hot prospect list for Business Development
  • Reactivate dormant and inactive accounts.
  • Conduct proactive “Did You Know” (DYK) calls to existing house accounts.
  • Set qualified appointments for outside sales representatives.
  • Solution Selling: Present Crown’s services and equipment solutions, tailor proposals to customer requirements, and clearly communicate technical and economic value.
  • Proposal & Contract Execution: Prepare quotes, proposals, and statements of work; negotiate terms; and secure signed agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, engineering, testing, and service teams to ensure accurate scoping, timely delivery, and effective issue resolution.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain an accurate pipeline, deliver weekly forecasts.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather competitive insights and customer feedback to support pricing and service strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years in B2B sales, ideally within technical services, manufacturing, or capital equipment.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and explain industrial cleaning, finishing, washing systems, and cleanliness testing—or learn quickly.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing proposals and presenting technical information.
  • Self-Starter: Proven success working independently, maintaining high activity levels, and driving results.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
