Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current School Psychologist certification or credential valid in Alabama
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Proven experience conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing a variety of behavioral and academic interventions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Proficient in counseling techniques and comfortable providing crisis intervention as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and support students across grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for students referred by school staff or families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, coordinate, and document IEPs and 504 plans
