General Information/Job Summary

Position responsible for supporting E&I Construction Project Managers by monitoring construction activities, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, review specifications and drawings to ensure construction progresses as scheduled with adherence to the contract. Construction field experience is a must.

Responsibilities/Competencies
  • Interface with the Site Construction Team, Home Office Engineering team, Site Engineering Team, and Field Personnel as required to complete all assigned tasks.
  • Resolve design conflict and field interference issues with Engineering via RFI's.
  • Coordinate, track, and issue RFI's to Saulsbury Project Engineer for EPC projects and with assigned position on Non EPC projects.
  • Maintain Project as Built / Redline drawings.
  • Build work packages by area / scope and issue to Project Manager / Superintendent for review, approval, and use for progressing.
  • Work packages should be built by scope type and by areas/systems as required. These would include but not limited to; Underground grounding, duct banks, cable tray, lighting, tubing (P&ID's), etc.
  • Set up and build tag / termination packages per procedure
  • Interface with Project Vendors, on-site materials manager, and QC to assure that material is received in a timely manner, correct material is delivered, and stored per our materials plan.
  • Build I/O bubble sheet for tracking completion of work to communicate loop ready points. This should include cable numbers to correlate with cable schedule progress
  • IFC drawing review for coordinating with estimating and MTO's
  • Track IFC drawings and revisions issued to ensure they have been estimated and loaded into cloud for progressing.
  • Assist in developing Change Orders as required
  • Build wire and phenolic tag packages and send to E&I shop to be made.
  • Organize wire tags in zip lock bags (This should be done by the E&I shop), file in cabinet by cable number, create a sign out tracker for issuing out to foreman.
  • Check terminated tag packages back in and file in a separate filing cabinet drawer / folder for completion of terminations.
  • Review Project schedule- 3 week look ahead
Requirements
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience in industrial construction.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team-management and leadership skills
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
