As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Google Data Centers (GDC) make up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures on the planet. The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program enables compliance and safety excellence in design, construction, commissioning, deployment and operations of Google owned and third‑party data centers at scale.

As a member of the GDC Compliance, Security and Risk Management (CSRM) Environmental team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the environmental programs across the Google Cloud teams not only in compliance with the regulatory requirements but also by pushing the program boundaries to establish and forward looking community concerns related environmental programs. You will play a critical part in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across Google Cloud to identify programmatic gaps, develop and execute timely and scalable end-to-end environmental programs to protect Google’s interests and have a lasting impact in the data center communities. You will also provide program leadership and oversight to new and critical environmental initiatives to continue to create and iterate our Google EHS program.

The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. We empower Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights by delivering AI and Infrastructure at unparalleled scale, efficiency, reliability and velocity. Our customers include Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of Google users worldwide.

  • Define and steer the global vision and strategy for GDC’s Environmental Programs, prioritizing community concerns related environmental program, aligning regional initiatives with evolving Google standards and global GDC operational models.
  • Partner with executive GDC leadership, CSRM, and EHS stakeholders to integrate and execute environmental initiatives as a core GDC business strategy to enable licenses to operate.
  • Standardize and oversee the global environmental risk management framework to identify, evaluate, and mitigate end-to‑end environmental risks, while ensuring proactive adaptation to market forces.
  • Establish and monitor global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving global and industry level benchmarking across all operating models with a focus on community‑specific environmental impacts.
