Job description

Seeking an experienced and highly skilled maintenance professional to perform a broad range of maintenance duties for District buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include maintaining the recreation center, public works buildings, water treatment plant, pump stations, parks, beaches, golf courses, ski area, athletic fields, and wetland areas. This is a senior level position requiring advanced technical proficiency in the operation, maintenance, repair, construction, and troubleshooting of a wide range of building systems and equipment across all IVGID facilities. The position requires the ability to diagnose complex issues, perform skilled repairs, and ensure District assets are maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient condition. Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 5 years of experience or technical training in general building maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Comprehensive working knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, pumps, and general building maintenance. Demonstrated proficiency in the safe operation, maintenance, repair, and use of a wide range of maintenance tools and equipment, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and snow removal equipment, as well as specialized tools used in facility maintenance, construction, and repair. Valid Driver's License required. District application required. Rate: $32.36 - $45.31/hour DOE/DOQ and includes fantastic benefits package.
