Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Project Manager to become part of the Test Equipment Solution Program Execution team at our Warner Robins, Ga location.

What You'll Get to Do:

As a Test Equipment Solution Project Manager, you will oversee and manage ongoing production and repair contracts and serve as liaison between Program Management Office and all functional teams to include Operations, Engineering, Mission Assurance and Global Supply Chain. Review status of production and repair contracts; manage schedules, prepare status reports, support Contract deliverables and invoice submissions. Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for intervention and problem solving.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees and manages the program management aspects of ongoing contracts and serves as liaison between the program office and all supporting functional areas.

  • Establishes mechanisms for monitoring program progress and adherence to plans / schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions.

  • Manages, monitors and reports "on time delivery" metrics and trends against program contractual requirements and commitments.

  • Monitors program area for compliance with program execution procedures

  • Manages special projects focused on improving operational effectiveness.

  • Prepares, coordinates and reviews Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and invoice submissions.

This position may be filled at either Level 2 or 3 (Principal) Project Management title.

Basic Qualifications for Project Management (Level 2):

  • High-School Diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience Or either a Bachelor's degree with 2-years of related experience; OR master's degree with 0 years relevant work experience

  • Self-starter with ability to work with little to no supervision

  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

  • Works well independently and in a team environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft programs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams internal and external customers.

  • Ability obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Management (Level 3):

  • High-School Diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience Or either a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience; OR master's degree with 2 years relevant work experience

  • Self-starter with ability to work with little to no supervision

  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

  • Works well independently and in a team environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft programs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams internal and external customers.

  • Ability obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with years of related experience

  • DoD sustainment background/understanding

  • Familiar with SAP and MES Experience with program startup processes

  • Exceptionally Proficient with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • The ability to identify and address program problems through a systematic, proactive, approach

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
