Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Precast Concrete Sales Representative & Estimator specializing in structural infrastructure markets. This dual-role position focuses on driving revenue growth and generating precise bids for pre-engineered modular buildings, sound/security walls, and custom precast structures. You will participate in the entire project lifecycle - from locating design/build and bidding opportunities, to making presentations to architects, engineers and project owners in order to get our products specified, to delivering comprehensive blueprint takeoffs, cost estimates and proposals.


Key Responsibilities

Assist the Sales Team in securing contracts for precast pre-engineered modular buildings, sound and security walls, and other precast structures.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to generate new business leads and expand sales.

Identify upcoming regional infrastructure, municipal, and commercial projects using bidding networks and trade shows.

Manage opportunities from the development process to bid preparation and through bid follow-up using the Sales Pipeline.

Conduct detailed blueprint takeoffs and prepare detailed construction estimates, incorporating labor, materials, equipment costs, and profit margins.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts thoroughly to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.

Generate accurate, competitive estimates and formal proposals for public and private entities.

Present technical sales presentations to owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, municipalities, public agencies and other project stakeholders.

Present proposals confidently to clients, clearly articulating value propositions and addressing questions or concerns.

Collaborate with internal engineering, project managers and plant operations to ensure estimates align with project specifications, budget constraints, production capability and lead times.

Prepare hand-off packages to transition awarded contracts from Sales to Project Management.
