Job Description We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring, microservices, front-end frameworks, and database development and a proven ability to deliver high-quality features, lead engineering practices, and ensure secure, compliant solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and own delivery of application features with high quality.

Adhere to enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality assurance. Ensure solutions meet product acceptance criteria while minimizing technical debt. Oversee compliance and security requirements, including audit support at the team level.

Serve as liaison for production activities and resolve production issues effectively. Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a clear product backlog with defined acceptance criteria. Guide work breakdown and task execution to meet delivery timelines.

Act as team lead while remaining an individual contributor; mentor team members to improve skills and practices. Provide expertise in planning, estimation, code reviews, and engineering best practices. Identify skill and role gaps and partner with the Technology Manager to address them.

Support the Technology Manager in developing resource contingency plans. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of Java development with Core Java, J2EE, Spring 5, Hibernate, and Spring MVC/Batch. Proficiency with version control: GIT/Bitbucket or Subversion.

Experience with WebLogic Server, performance tuning, ETL processes, and Windows/Linux environments. Strong RDBMS skills including advanced SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle and SQL Server. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Frontend proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Angular 17+, and Node.js. Experience with reporting tools: MicroStrategy and Tableau. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

Experience working in Agile development environments. Test automation with Selenium and Cucumber. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration, including Kubernetes.

Web services experience with AWS, REST APIs, and GraphQL. Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and MS SQL Server platforms. Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.

Understanding and experience with microservices architecture. Preferred Skills: Experience with production support and incident management in regulated environments. Background with enterprise-scale ETL and performance optimization.
