Standard Job Description Position Summary Perform assigned fireprevention inspections and related duties to protect company and customer assets from fire and other hazards. Maintain current knowledge of fireinsurance carrier procedures and requirements, and promote firesafety awareness through education, demonstrations, and clear emergencyresponse protocols. This role is essential to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring that LockheedMartin AeronauticsGreenville facilities meet the highest fireprevention and protection standards.

Key Responsibilities Inspect & Enforce Conduct routine and spot inspections of all LockheedMartin AeronauticsGreenville facilities for compliance with fire, lifesafety, OSHA, and National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) codes. Enforce company policies and applicable codes, correcting violations promptly. Audit Support Facilitate audits for local authorities, insurance underwriters, and DCMA representatives as needed.

Egress & Access Verify proper maintenance and operation of exits, exit doors, fire escapes, and ensure all egress routes are free of obstructions. Review storage practices; correct conditions where material placement exceeds firecode limits or impedes firefighting equipment, exits, fire doors, or sprinklers. FlammableLiquid Management Inspect flammableliquid storage to confirm quantities, containers, and locations meet safety standards.

Ensure quickburning combustibles (e.g., lumber, cardboard, paper, packing material) are stored within prescribed limits. Identify chemical hazards and verify required safeguards are applied. RecordKeeping Maintain accurate logs of inspections, fireprotection equipment, and identified hazards for each building

Contract Oversight Supervise contracted fireprevention services to ensure performance aligns with standards. Agency Coordination Accompany external inspectors during site visits. FireExtinguisher Program Administer the fireextinguisher program in accordance with NFPA10.

Manage training, documentation, and placement of extinguishers for all required personnel. Evacuation Drills Plan, coordinate, and execute evacuation drills per applicable standards. Maintain uptodate facility evacuation maps and designate assembly areas.

Safety Advisement Provide guidance on safety methods, company rules, and relevant buildinginspection codes, drawing on the National Board of Fire Underwriters and NFPA standards. Basic Qualifications Experienced Fire Prevention/Fire Protection Professional 3 yrs or more experience in building fire code enforcement Working knowledge of fireinsurance carrier procedures, NFPA codes, OSHA regulations, and local fire codes. Strong analytical and observational abilities to identify hazards and enforce compliance.

Excellent communication skills for delivering firesafety education and coordinating with internal teams and external agencies Ability to maintain detailed records and manage training programs.
