Job description

Position: Medicaid Financial Analyst

Location: North Carolina

Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Medicaid Financial Analyst to support the NC Medicaid MES Program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Medicaid budgeting, financial analysis, MDBT development, APD documentation, and project financial management.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Medicaid Detailed Budget Table (MDBT)
  • Prepare project budgets and financial reports
  • Track project expenditures and forecasts
  • Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and SOPs
  • Support project planning and budget meetings
Required Skills:
  • Experience with Medicaid MDBT and APD budgeting
  • Strong budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, MS Teams, and Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • State government or public sector experience is a plus
