Job description


  • Surveillance activities of Contractor's Quality Plan, ITP and Quality Procedures on welding and NDE activities ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, & standards.
  • Monitor radiation safety checks conducted by contractor.
  • Monitor contractors audit process is in compliance with audit schedule requirements.
  • Monitor contractor's traceability procedures.
  • Monitor contractor's document control process.
  • Review and accept fabrication and manufacturing Quality Records.

Requirements
Business Need:
  • Necessary to maintain quality relative to Welding and NDE.
  • Safety relative to use of radiation producing sources.
  • Verify that contractor maintains document control and radio graphic film archiving which is acceptable to contract requirements.

Key Skills:
  • Extensive training and experience in welding and radiography film interpretation.
  • Current certifications as AWS CWI and ASNT Level II or Level III inspector.
  • Knowledge of standards for equipment, materials and construction methods.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Ten years experience in process pipe welding, fabrication and film interpretation
  • On site working experience in facilities/camp life environment.
