Skilled Machinist supporting production and maintenance operations on First Shift, as well as various projects. Beyond day-to-day machining, this position offers the chance to play a critical role in keeping manufacturing operations running at peak performance. You’ll be trusted to create high-quality repair and spare parts, produce essential consumables, and work with both conventional and CNC equipment in a safety-driven, team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do as a Machinist:

  • Key support partner for production and maintenance teams on machining needs
  • Manufacture repair and spare parts that keep equipment and operations running smoothly
  • Produce critical consumable items used in daily production processes
  • Safely and efficiently operate conventional and CNC machines
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional workspace you can be proud of
  • Follow and champion all safety standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement initiatives and special projects

What We’re Looking For in a Machinist:

  • 5 years of proven experience in a machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work comfortably at various heights and equipment levels
  • Capability to stand for extended periods while operating machinery
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and safe work instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and blueprints
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge and application of ISO tolerancing systems and ASME Y14.5 standards
  • Ability to read, write, and understand G/M code
  • Willingness to take a Mechanical/Machinist Aptitude Test
  • Ability and availability to complete additional college‑level courses if required

Preferred Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools (dial calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, inspection/calibration equipment)
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, piping, boiler, and steam systems
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset
  • In‑depth knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems
  • Experience with workplace organization and standardization (5S)
  • Familiarity with Operator Maintenance (clean, inspect, lubricate)
