Job Description

Operate, clean, maintain machines and maintain juice flow from machine to packaging and boxing area to robot room with the highest degree of quality and efficiency. Ensures the safety, cleanliness, and orderliness, of the production area. Performs duties assigned by the Production Supervisor, Team Coordinator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Operate, clean and maintain machine.
2. Ensure the safety of the crew by enforcing all safety procedures.
3. Manage changeovers and setups to ensure accurate runs.
4. Reduce shrink and loss by monitoring production area.
5. Communicate effectively with maintenance regarding mechanical issues.
6. Identify and correct leaker problems in area.
7. Break-out operators in area.
8. Set-up and change case coder as required.
9. Perform minor repairs on machines.
10. Perform sampling (Brix check) and obtain OK from QA Department.
11. Perform cleaning, check cleaning and get OK from QA Department.
12. Examine supply levels of "necessary items" to ensure a continuous juice run.
13. Complete paperwork dye check, certification list, magnet inspection sheets, leaker checks, weight checks, sanitation checklist and all other production daily paperwork.
14. Communicate with previous and following shifts regarding equipment operation & production status.
15. Operate time card system correctly.
16. Suggest improvements in safety, quality and efficiency.
17. Follow CPF policies and procedures
18. Correctly submit all job paperwork & records.
19. Constantly monitor product.
20. Maintain and manage accurate case counts.
21. Back-up Operator II.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
1. Remember, follow and understand on the job training.
2. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
3. Ability to attain a hand truck license through OSHA regulated training.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as production schedules, inventory reports, sales forecasts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, trends. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
