Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Contract Administrator (Level 2) to join its team of qualified and diverse professionals. This position is full-time on-site and offers a 9/80 Schedule.This position will be located in Warner Robins, GA. Candidates that are able to work from another Northrop Grumman site may be given secondary consideration with preference for employees in Oklahoma City, OK or Rolling Meadows, IL.

The successful applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems Sector and will support the Integrated Mission Solutions Operating Unit (IMS OU). The IMS OU focuses on production, repair, engineering and software for electronic aerospace components, including radar, electronic countermeasures, and test equipment. This position will support the APN-241 radar program. APN-241 is a Northrop Grumman OEM product with numerous government and commercial customers, including international customers from around the globe. The successful candidate will be highly organized with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and customer relationships while collaborating internally with program and functional team members to facilitate successful contract execution and resolve emerging issues.

In this role, the selected candidate will:

  • Work complex assignments and support Finance, Program Management, and various levels of Management
  • Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration activities from proposal through closeout.
  • Prepare date for entry into the financial and delivery systems.
  • Participate in customer meetings, monitoring contract compliance and leading the change management process.
  • Ensure contract terms and conditions are negotiated within company guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in contract administration or a related aerospace and defense industry field or a master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience
  • Will consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to track multiple tasks and drive tasks to completion while effectively communicating status to team members
  • The ability to work with other organizations and representatives of Government and commercial customers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing complex projects with competing priorities
  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions and other contractual agreements
  • Experience with sustainment, engineering and logistics contracts
  • Experience with SAP S4 and the contracts setup process
Primary Level Salary Range: $62,100.00 - $93,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
