Electrical Engineer III – Exterior Lighting
Location: Warren, MI (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $52/hour
Contract Length: 1 year with strong potential for extension/direct hire

Overview
•    Join a leading automotive manufacturer supporting next-generation exterior lighting systems. Work on electrical design, validation, testing, troubleshooting, supplier collaboration, and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
•    Perform hands-on troubleshooting of vehicle electrical systems, harnesses, modules, and interfaces.
•    Conduct electrical analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, current clamps, and diagnostic tools.
•    Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
•    Create and maintain Electrical Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
•    Execute electrical bench testing and validation activities.
•    Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
•    5-7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
