  • Support implementation and integration of robotics and automation projects from concept through production.
  • Design and develop tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and other production support equipment.
  • Create and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
  • Develop standard work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and tooling-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Evaluate manufacturing methods, materials, and equipment to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Work with outside vendors and suppliers on tooling fabrication and equipment integration projects.
  • Ensure tooling and manufacturing processes meet safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and change control records.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automation environment.
  • Experience programming or supporting industrial robotic systems such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Universal Robots preferred.
  • Strong experience with tooling and fixture design.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and materials.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally in a team environment.
  • Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or controls is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles preferred.

About Avero

Sourced by ZipRecruiter

In 1997, while working as the CFO of an NYC restaurant group, Avero founder Damian Mogavero, was frustrated with his management team’s inability to answer basic questions about the restaurants’ performance. He wanted a better way to extract the data already being collected by the POS and to enable operators to use it to make better, faster, and more profitable decisions. In 2002, Avero was born. Today, Avero has offices in Dallas, Las Vegas, Boulder, and NYC and is used by over 43,000 operators in 75 countries. And we always stay true to our mission: innovating technology to empower hospitality operators with the answers they need to transform their businesses and their lives.
