Integrated Media - Remote (U.S. Based)
Operation Blessing (OB), an international humanitarian relief and development organization, is seeking an organized Program Communications Manager to manage the development and execution of strategic communications that cultivate and sustain partnerships with corporations, foundations, gift-in-kind (GIK) partners, and individual supporters. This role serves as a key donor communications lead for Operation Blessing's Global Disaster Response, U.S. Hunger Relief, and Procurement/Gift-in-Kind initiatives, translating program impact into compelling proposals, reports, presentations, and content that secures funding, strengthens partner relationships, and supports the acquisition, stewardship, and retention of critical funding and donated resources. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to OB's Biblical mission to extend a helping hand in Christ's name to meet physical and spiritual needs.
The salary range for this position is $51,700-$55,000 annually. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field or 2-4 years' equivalent experience
  • Proven knowledge, understanding and experience in project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow through from start to finish with long-term goals and projects
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to assess needs, identify opportunities, and recommend effective communication solutions
  • Tenacity and creativity in finding the right information, resources, and contacts
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive communications for diverse audiences
  • Experience developing proposals, reports, stewardship communications, and donor-facing materials for foundations, corporations, institutional funders, or gift-in-kind partners preferred
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and be an effective member of a team
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while meeting department goals and deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet on-going reporting deadlines efficiently
  • Demonstrate life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with Operation Blessing's nonprofit Christian mission
