Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a DevOps Engineer.
Summary:
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining technical software applications and provides a combination of technical and business leadership while being the primary trusted and capable owner of one or more high priority, high visibility, complex initiatives. The DevOps Engineer will typically lead and coach a small number of team members (e.g., an architect, systems analyst, etc.) and provide guidance to a larger community.
Duties:
* Application performance review and applying the right tuning
* Behavioral analytics and providing the traffic forecast and take necessary actions
* Reviewing from monitoring aspects and setting up right monitors for support teams
* Service availability improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience working with complex Web/mobile development projects
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
* Excellent technical knowledge with experience in supporting large-scale applications
* Ability to identify issues quickly and resolve
* Experience with diagnostics tools to identify root cause in application code.
* Hands on knowledge with micro services architecture, Java spring boot API development, react front end, any known relational Database
* Experience with private/public cloud environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
