Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Specialist to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of software systems and infrastructure. This role will focus on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating software delivery processes, improving system reliability, and supporting cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux, Windows, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps automation tools, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Support software development teams by implementing DevOps methodologies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Deploy updates, patches, and fixes to support continuous integration and continuous delivery initiatives.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for development, build, deployment, and production issues.
  • Develop integration solutions between DevOps platforms and internal backend systems.
  • Manage and support infrastructure across development, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
  • Implement automation opportunities to streamline software release and operational processes.
  • Evaluate current systems and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve release velocity while maintaining system security and stability.
  • Create and maintain troubleshooting procedures, operational documentation, and maintenance standards.
  • Monitor system performance and support observability and logging solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevOps Specialist, or similar software engineering role.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting Linux environments.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
  • 7+ years of experience with GitHub or similar source control platforms.
  • 7+ years of experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience using Python for automation and scripting.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD processes and release management.
  • Experience with version control and repository management tools such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python.
  • Strong system administration background across Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions to technical challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience supporting embedded systems development and build environments.
  • Team leadership or technical lead experience.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools.
  • Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Lens.
  • Experience with logging and monitoring solutions including Elastic Stack, Grafana Loki, or FluentD.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
