Job description

Top Skills' Details

Role is 75-80% mobile DevOps and 20-25% general DevOps.

iOS and Android Experience: Essential for deployments to app stores.

Build, Deploy, Test Tools: The candidate should be familiar with various tools for these processes and be able to discuss them thoroughly.

Collaboration and Training: A key aspect is cross-training the existing team to ensure they can maintain and own the mobile DevOps infrastructure after the contractor's engagement.

Monorepo Orchestration Tool Experience: Specifically NX, but any similar tool like Google's Bazel is acceptable. This is important for the 10-20% non-mobile DevOps work.

GitHub Actions: The team uses this extensively.

Argo CD: Also used by the team.

Datadog: For test results and monitoring. While not a deal-breaker, experience with it is a "great win."

API Experience (Golang): The team has an API written in Golang that sits on top of GitHub Actions.

Expo Application Services (EAS): Experience with EAS is a significant advantage, as the company is likely to purchase and implement this cloud service.

Over-the-Air (OTA) Deployments: Experience with this is preferred.
