We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer II who thrives at the intersection of innovation and execution. You'll join a team that's shaping the future of digital experiences at Nike, leveraging modern technologies to solve complex business challenges.
What You Will Work On
As a Full Stack Software Engineer II, you will:
  • Participating in architectural design sessions with the team's engineers
  • Developing and document REST API contract specifications in Confluence
  • Developing REST APIs in Python utilizing the FastAPI framework
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and services using Databricks, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using React, HTML, Python and SQL.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Utilizing infrastructure as code practices to provision cloud resources
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD build pipelines in Jenkins
  • Participating in engineer code reviews via GitHub
  • Assisting in the story breakdown to convert architecture designs into executable tasks
  • Developing data integrations using Airflow, Snowflake and Apache Kafka

Who You Will Work With
You'll be part of a cross-functional team of engineers, business stakeholders, and product owners. You'll also collaborate with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Platforms to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with Nike's digital strategy.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 2+ years' experience developing cloud native REST APIs
  • 2+ years' experience utilizing AWS cloud infrastructure
  • 2+ years' experience developing services in Python.
  • 2+ years' experience utilizing message-based solutions (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • 2+ years' experience in building Front end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and develop views using HTML/CSS
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Snowflake
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL, MYSQL or MSSQL
  • Experience working with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS SAM)
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and product managers to drive requirements
  • Experience in an Agile or Scrum development environment, including a demonstrated ability to deliver software applications in this environment
  • Proven ability to deliver highly integrated software applications with complex dependencies
  • Proven experience as a member of a large project / project team
  • Outstanding collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Exposure to Generative AI and LLM-based applications
  • Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or model integration
  • Prior experience in the Legal domain or working with legal/compliance systems
  • Familiarity with MLOps or deploying ML models in production
  • Familiarity with Salesforce APIs
  • Experience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow etc.
