Role: Technical Project Manager/Product Owner - Databricks/AWS Data Platform

Location: New Jersey, NJ

Work Schedule: Hybrid (2, 3 days a week in office)

Type of Position: Contract

Job Description: As a TPM/Product Owner, this position requires candidate who are enthusiastic about specialized skills in managing enterprise initiative by building data platforms in Data engineering area having DataBricks/AWS platforms. As a member of the team, should help our clients progress on their Data and Analytics journey.

Key Result Areas and Activities:

Driving Data Engineering Initiatives working with client Product and Business teams:

  • Work with clients to understand and define the data initiatives based on business needs
  • Review all project architectures/codes and contribute towards the development of the project delivery

Drive the Project & Technical Team:

  • Work with client to gather the data/business requirements
  • Provide required technical support to development team while delivering the code/project
  • Manage end to project deliverables as technical lead/spoc for client and Infocepts

Collaboration and Communication for Account Growth:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with clients across multiple geographies.

Performance Tuning and Optimization:

  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of queries and data models.
  • Optimize data workflows for efficiency and scalability.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure data quality.

Work and Technical Experience:

Must haves:

  • Must have strong D&A background with core skills such as SQL, data engineering, analytics etc.
  • Project delivery expertise on data engineering, data migration, data foundation buildout and data analytics using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI
  • Client stakeholder management for account farming and growth mindset
  • Study existing technology landscape and understand current data landscape, framework and do

  • Communication with business users to understand the requirements. Able to convert the business requirements into technical requirements like a BA
  • Strong appreciation of data engineering platforms and their capabilities - DataBricks
  • Strong experience in anchoring and delivering efficient and scalable solutions (like data engineering, data migration, data foundation buildout and data analytics using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI) to support key client initiatives
  • Good understanding of core D&A stack - AWS services, PySpark, Lambda, S3
