Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a health and safety team in Eagan, Minnesota. This contract role focuses on organizing records, updating documentation, and turning paper-based information into accurate digital files. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with spreadsheets, verifying details with internal teams, and helping keep safety reporting current and complete.


Responsibilities:

• Enter and update health and safety information with a high degree of accuracy and consistency

• Convert physical documents into organized digital records and maintain properly filed electronic documentation

• Prepare, update, and format Excel spreadsheets to track reports, forms, and related safety records

• Review safety paperwork, including lockout/tagout documentation, to ensure records are complete and properly documented

• Support documentation needs for the Eagan, Minnesota site and additional company locations as assigned

• Follow up with team members to gather missing details and confirm the accuracy of submitted information

• Assist with bringing reporting and administrative records up to date to support ongoing health and safety operations

• Upload documents and maintain accessible files for reporting, compliance, and reference purposes

• Prior experience in data entry or administrative support with strong attention to detail
• Ability to enter numeric and text-based information accurately and efficiently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including creating and updating spreadsheets
• Comfortable handling scanned files, uploaded documents, and digital record organization
