Responsible for coordinating and conducting contract initiation, monitoring or compliance activities, in accordance with Pearl River Resort contracting policies and procedures.

Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.
Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.
Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Implement and maintain contract data in contract management system.
  • Complete audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Obtains necessary signatures from PRR and vendor.
  • Implements the practices and procedures established for contract initiation, monitoring, or compliance.
  • Prepares initial drafts of certain contracts using previous contracts and form library.
  • Works with department presenting the contract to obtain necessary information for attorneys assigned to contract review.
  • Performs initiation, monitoring, or compliance activities for Pearl River Resort contracts.
  • Performs special reviews, projects, and programs.
  • Provides technical assistance and direction regarding contract compliance.
  • Provides staff support as required for special projects.
  • Provides direction to staff regarding improvements to contracting procedures.
  • Monitors all negotiations, terminations, and renegotiations of contracts and updates contract management system. Develops contract compliance work plans and objectives.
  • Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This job requires a high degree of organizational skills. AGE and GAMING:
21 years of age or above
Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School or GED is required, Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, with coursework in business law and English composition is preferred. Position requires extensive use of proper grammar, spelling and reading comprehension. Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of clerical experience.
TESTING:
Must score at least 70 % on Excel testing and type a minimum of 45 wpm with 85% accuracy on keyboarding. A writing sample or exam will be required for consideration.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Previous legal experience dealing with matters associated with the gaming industry is preferred. Previous direct experience in contract coordination preferred. Experience with filing, search and tracking is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to spell accurately and utilize proper grammar and punctuation in written correspondence. Ability to read and interpret legal documents such as rulings, case law, appeals writs, contracts, and other applicable legal publications and documents.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations. Ability to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Essential physical abilities are able to sit for extended periods, sometimes in excess of 6 hours at a time. Extended use of computer is probable and minor eye strain may occur throughout the assigned shift. Able to lift and maneuver at least twenty (20) pounds. Bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling may be required throughout shift.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas one may be subjected to tobacco smoke.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
