To thrive as a Contract Data Center Project Manager, you need strong project management expertise, knowledge of data center infrastructure, and experience with contract negotiation, typically supported by a relevant degree and certifications like PMP. Proficiency in project management software (such as MS Project), familiarity with data center standards (like Uptime Institute or TIA-942), and contract management systems are essential.
