Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

Location: Marietta, GA – 100% Onsite
Duration: 13 Months Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 Days Onsite — No Exceptions

Job Description

Seeking a Sr. Implementation Specialist to support day-to-day data center operations in a large-scale server environment. The ideal candidate will have strong PowerEdge Rack/Tower, iDRAC, RHEL, and Ubuntu experience.

Must-Have Skills
  • PowerEdge Rack/Tower server experience

  • Strong iDRAC experience

  • RHEL and Ubuntu OS experience

  • Experience working in a large-scale data center/server environment

  • Data center operations and hardware troubleshooting experience

Nice-to-Have
  • PowerEdge XE server experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily data center operations and proactively monitor the environment

  • Perform routine data center walkthroughs and identify/alert on amber lights, hot doors, and other issues

  • Escort and coordinate with dispatched field engineers

  • Manage LOIS parts inventory and documentation

  • Maintain serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, and other environment documentation

  • Coordinate power, cooling, containment, and other facility maintenance activities

  • Perform BIOS lifecycle management, user administration, and patching

  • Triage issues with support teams and coordinate FSE break/fix activities

  • Execute customer-directed system/version updates

  • Work closely with the customer team to maintain a stable and reliable data center environment

Onsite Requirement: This position requires the resource to be onsite 5 days per week in Marietta, GA. There are no remote or hybrid exceptions.
