Job description

AI/ML Scientist / Engineer

We are hiring an AI/ML Scientist / Engineer to work on advanced machine learning systems focused on real-time, low-latency AI applications. This role involves research, development, and deployment of AI methods, as well as integration of modern learning frameworks for complex decision-making and video-based analysis tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Use state-of-the-art AI technologies to research, develop, and deploy real-time, low-latency AI solutions
  • Develop and integrate AI agent and/or deep reinforcement learning (DRL) frameworks for decision-making, workflow automation, or adaptive optimization in video-based applications
  • Stay current with the latest developments in AI research and emerging technologies
  • Understand application needs and translate them into design, development, and validation of AI solutions
  • Follow company product development standards and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and team members on execution
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in AI, ML, DL, or related fields, or a PhD/master’s degree with equivalent experience
  • Experience with advanced vision-language or foundation models (e.g., GPT-4o, SAM, and similar models) for image/video analysis
  • Experience with AI agents and/or deep reinforcement learning, including prompt engineering and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or RAG
  • Strong understanding of computer vision fundamentals including camera calibration, SLAM, registration, multi-view geometry, tracking, and mapping
  • Strong deep learning knowledge including classification, tracking, mapping, transformers, and CNNs
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python
  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to rapidly implement, verify, and iterate solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong algorithm development experience in medical image analysis, segmentation, and image registration
  • Experience with NVIDIA tooling and/or TensorRT deployment
  • Experience with 3D visualization programming in Linux
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and medical image interpretation
  • Experience with DICOM
  • Experience working with imaging modalities such as endoscopic video, ultrasound, CT, or similar sensor data
