Job Summary:
Saxon Global is seeking a Mainframe Developer for a contract position in Quincy, MA. The role involves designing and coding complex software applications, participating in requirements gathering, and writing detailed design specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps.
• Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality.
• Write detailed design specifications, including unit test cases.
• Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions.
• Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6+ years’ experience including COBOL
