Location: Carson City, NV 89706

Duration: 06 months contract position with contract to hire job opportunity

Shift: Mon to Fri 8 am to 4:30 pm

Pay range: $20 to $25 an hour- Depends on experience & qualification**

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and repairs machinery such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Performs maintenance

and repairs to physical structures of facility.

  • Reads and understands blue prints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Conducts tests to locate mechanical system malfunction.
  • Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
  • Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts.
  • Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
  • Lubricates and cleans parts.
  • Uses machine tools in installation, maintenance

or repair.

  • Starts devices to test their performance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
