Contract Chrysler Nursing Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local skilled nursing facility in Norfolk, VA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and clear documentation of respiratory care plans.
Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current respiratory therapist state license in good standing with the Virginia licensing board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience as an RRT with direct patient care in a post-acute or skilled nursing environment preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with common respiratory equipment including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, and suctioning devices preferred.
• Ability to perform arterial blood gas sampling and basic pulmonary function assessments preferred.

• Shift Details: Evenings 1900-0700, 3x12 schedule.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Meal Break: 30 minutes.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks.
• Guaranteed Hours per Week: 35.
