Job description

Position Overview

The PRN/1099 BCBA will provide as-needed clinical services, including assessments, individualized treatment planning, supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and direct client services. This role is ideal for a BCBA seeking autonomy, flexibility, and opportunities to work in Maryland and Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducted comprehensive behavioral assessments and developed individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and oversee treatment plan execution.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to RBTs, ensuring adherence to BACB guidelines and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, session notes, and treatment modifications.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and cohesive care.
  • Adhere to National Therapy Center policies, BACB ethical standards, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
  • Active BCBA certification and licensure to practice in Maryland and/or Washington, DC.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience as a BCBA, preferably in pediatric ABA therapy.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising RBTs, including compliance with BACB supervision standards.
  • Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral intervention strategies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage schedules efficiently, and communicate effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical care with a client-centered approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to therapy.
Contract Terms & Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: $95 - $100 per hour (based on experience), this will include all documentation and SOAP notes.
  • Independent Contractor (1099) position - BCBAs have autonomy over their schedules based on client needs and availability.
  • The contractor is responsible for all personal business expenses, including licensure, continuing education, and professional liability insurance.
  • This position does not include benefits (e.g., health insurance, retirement contributions).
