Job description

This contract-based opportunity is an excellent fit for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to help students unlock their full potential. Collaborate with a supportive school community, working across age groups to meet a wide range of diverse needs.
Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with elementary and high school student populations
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, speech and language evaluations, and therapy interventions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and adaptability
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans tailored to students' specific needs
  • Deliver direct therapy, both individual and group, across elementary and high school levels
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents regarding communication strategies
