Job Title: Sr. Java Developer (Back-end)
Terms: Contract (Through Dec. 31st 2015)
Location: Boston, MA
Responsibilities
  • 5+ years of experience in architecture, design, analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of highly scalable web platform services and components, both server-side and UI
  • 4+ years of experience in Restful API design, Java/ J2EE, Web Services, REST, SOAP, HTML5
  • Strong background in Object Oriented Programming / Analysis and Design concepts, Design Patterns, and Software Development Life Cycle
  • Work closely with product management team to ensure we're building the best products.
  • Perform research, analysis, design and implementation.
  • Support and migrate existing systems to new platforms
  • Mentor other team members and developers.
  • Work in team environment and share knowledge.
  • Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities into the platform.
  • Contributes as a hands-on software developer.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with strong fundamentals and problem solving skills.
