Title: Senior Python Backend PDF Generation Developer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid- Minimum 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 7+Months

Our client is seeking three experienced Senior Python Developers to support the development of a production-ready PDF Generator platform.

The solution will generate complex business and legal documents used in client's letting and contract execution processes, including:

  • Proposals
  • Contracts

  • Letters
  • Other structured and dynamically generated PDF documents

The selected developers will design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy scalable backend document-generation services.

Important: Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant development experience and be able to work onsite at clients Headquarters on Stassney in Austin, Texas, at least 3 days per week throughout the engagement.

Required Skills

Candidates must have:

  • Strong hands-on Python backend development experience.
  • Experience developing or maintaining backend document-generation services.
  • Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of async/await programming patterns.
  • Experience integrating applications with enterprise data and storage systems.
  • Experience building scalable, production-quality backend applications.
  • Experience with automated testing, source control, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a Senior Python Backend Developer with direct enterprise document or PDF-generation experience, rather than a general-purpose Python developer.

A strong profile would demonstrate:

Experience with ReportLab, WeasyPrint, Jinja2, PyPDF2, LibreOffice Headless, AWS, Azure DevOps, and complex PDF formatting will be particularly valuable.
