Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a client in identifying an experienced Aviation Attorney to support its legal team on a fully remote, temporary engagement. Candidates located in or near Dallas, Texas are strongly preferred.

Engagement Details
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Indefinite
  • Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
  • Location: Fully remote (Dallas-area candidates preferred)
  • Compensation: Starting at $65/hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
  • Review, redline, and negotiate aviation-related contracts supporting operational, leasing, and vendor relationships
  • Provide legal support for airport operations, including procurement, concessions, vendor agreements, and facility-related transactions
  • Advise on contract structures and risk considerations specific to the aviation and airport operations environment
  • Ensure agreements comply with applicable FAA contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal business and operational stakeholders to support ongoing aviation operations
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated aviation legal experience is required
  • Strong familiarity with aviation operations and airport-related legal transactions, including procurement, leasing, concessions, and vendor agreements
  • Working knowledge of FAA contractual requirements and regulatory considerations impacting airport and aviation operations
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
