Insurance's Group Benefits IT Team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven Software Engineer (Hybrid) who is responsible for working in engineering teams to successfully drive the transformation of our application landscape. They will work on an agile team to build and support various invest & maintenance assignments to achieve business outcomes on a large transformational program. Successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent partnership with stakeholders and partner teams, willingness to understand/adhere to existing processes and standards, solid technical acumen, experience in delivering quality technical solutions and ability to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring systems are stable, performant, and secure.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in application software solution development required
  • Hands on experience with using Angular 16 or newer required
  • Hands-on experience with.NET &.NET Core
  • Experience with Web Services (SOAP and Rest).
  • Experience with writing and using APIs.
  • Experience with containerization and experience in cloud infrastructure environments like Open Shift AWS.
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL Server relational database technologies. Knowledge of open-source database technologies is beneficial.
  • Experience with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies, preferred tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, SonarQube etc.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS), SaaS, and open-source frameworks is helpful.
  • Scripting language such as Python is helpful.
  • Experience with .NET.
  • Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code for all backend components.
  • Contribute to the code base and ensure code and processes adhere to clean code practices and industry best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
