Job Summary
The Contract Analyst supports the administration, analysis, and compliance of natural gas contracts across the commercial portfolio. This role assists with contract lifecycle activities including contract review, data validation, performance tracking, and coordination with internal stakeholders such as Trading, Gas Scheduling, Accounting, Marketing, and Legal. The position is ideal for early-career professionals seeking exposure to natural gas commercial operations and contract management.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing natural gas contracts, amendments, confirmations, and related commercial agreements
  • Extract and validate key contract terms including pricing, volumes, delivery points, term, and payment provisions
  • Enter and maintain accurate contract data in contract management systems
  • Support compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal control requirements
  • Track contract obligations, deadlines, renewals, and notice requirements
  • Assist with resolving contract discrepancies and responding to internal inquiries
  • Prepare contract summaries, reports, and performance metrics for management review
  • Coordinate with Legal, Commercial, Scheduling, Accounting, and Regulatory teams
  • Maintain organized electronic contract files and supporting documentation
  • Support internal and external audits as needed

Job Specific Skills

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Energy Management or related field
Experience
Minimum: 2 - 5 years related work experience
