Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Software Engineer. Designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure for various business use cases including ML pipelines and CI/DCD; Analyzing and interpreting data to ensure infrastructure performance and identify areas for improvement; Collaborating with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software developers to achieve common goals; Developing and managing feature stores and model registries to ensure data and model governance; Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices; and Documenting code and technical processes for future reference. Required Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role. Must have: Six (6) months of experience with the following: Apache Spark, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apache Airflow, Python, Scala, SQL, Big-Data, Hadoop MapReduce, Git, and Jenkins.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $114,275 - $136,300/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
