Job description

Chemical Packaging Tech 2

Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm

Location: 3500 Dekalb Street St. Louis MO USA 63118

Temp to Perm Potential

*****Must be clean shaved daily

  • Please ensure your candidates' resumes are up to date and accurate. The manager will decline candidates if there is a discrepancy.
  • Must have a good job history, no job hopping
  • Chemical packaging experience - 5-6 years in chemical or packaging environment
  • mixing, labeling, working chemicals
  • Must be good/understand basic math
  • Basic data entry
  • Basic computer skills and literacy
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good to have
  • Previous SAP experience / familiarity
  • Previous ISO / Pharma / biotech experience
  • interviews will be conducted onsite interviews
  • Physical and respirator fit required

Responsibilities:

  • To stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid, powder and hyophilized products per approved packing specifications with utilizing all required safety equipment.
  • Complete appropriate packaging documentation by ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory.
  • Fill, cap, and label chemical products.
  • Follow all quality and safety procedures.
  • Support quality systems.
  • Trains others and work in a team setting.

Work experience/skills:

  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Standing for extended periods of time and repetitive movements
  • Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 Ibs with lifting equipment.
  • Ability to see close and long distance
  • Required to wear air helmet, mask, safety shoes, apron rubber and tyvek suits, protective gloves and safety glasses/goggles while performing in this position

Education:

  • GED or High School Diploma
