Become a Key Player as a Mechanical Engineer II

You will design, test, and support mechanical equipment and systems that enable the organization’s engineering projects. Your work advances medium-complexity projects, supports senior engineers, and delivers technical outcomes to peers, other engineering groups, and customers. This is an onsite role working at the client site.

  • Design mechanical equipment, systems, and processes and perform suitability calculations and analyses
  • Solve assembly, repair, and test problems for environmental control systems
  • Support and execute hands-on testing and hardware activities
  • Prepare reports and present designs to peers, engineers, and customers
  • Provide direction or guidance to junior engineers, designers, and drafters as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to integrate designs and testing
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.M.E.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university
  • Two to five years of experience in design, analysis, and development of industrial equipment
  • Hands-on test and hardware experience (required)
  • Knowledge of applied thermodynamics and mechanical design
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to deliver effective presentations to customers
  • U.S. citizenship (required)
