Job description

Job Summary:  Provides leadership, guidance, and direction in achieving outcomes for organizational and service line mission goals and objectives. Assumes leadership responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of efficient systems of care and service within the continuum of care. Takes ownership of strategic growth and expansion opportunities within growing regions as defined by the strategic plan within the service line. Responsible for strategic oversight and operational performance for the service line and ambulatory departments. Leader will show integrity and initiative to meet the Mission, Vision and Values of CaroMont.

 Qualifications:   Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Five (5) years of healthcare management in a supervisory role or equivalent experience required. Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) certification preferred. For current employees in this title prior to 1/2019, please refer to previous CEW for qualifications.  Strong financial, planning, and multiple site management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills required. Excellent computer skills including an understanding of MS Office Suite, internet, and email; knowledge of medical terminology is required; medical insurance knowledge required; advanced account inquiry skills; initiative/problem solving skills are required; must be able to manage and foster a team environment. EMR and Practice Management system knowledge preferred.
