POSITION: Content and Cleaning Technician - Entry or Experience Level
SERVPRO of San Leandro/Hayward - Restoration Technician

As a Content and Cleaning Technician, you will be trained to perform various services required for each job and maintain the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment and vehicles. By delivering quality, consistent, and efficient work, the Technician represents the best in the cleaning and restoration industry. Primary Responsibilities
  • Pack and Crate Photograph existing damage, wrap and pack boxed items and furniture, relocate or load and unload from our vehicles for storage or return to customer residence. Training will be provided to document in our system.
  • Cleaning of structure and contents: You will receive instructions on the proper cleaning procedures with SERVPRO solutions and the use of specialized equipment.
  • Delivery of items back to the customer.
  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products and supplies necessary for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and a clean appearance of equipment.
  • Prepare the rooms/areas according to the work to be done in each project.
  • Comply with security and risk management guidelines at all times.
  • Communicate with the supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient processes.
  • Do cleanup and breakdown at the end of the day or job. Leave the workplace looking clean and tidy
Job Requirements
  • Preferable cleaning experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Driver's license (not required but preferred)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling height, and work in confined spaces (eg, crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals.
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Pay
Competitive hourly rate based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay and merit-based pay increases
