POSITION OVERVIEW

The Cascade PBS's mission is to inform and inspire our community to make the world a better place.

Responsible for project managing the agile digital product development and deployment in a fast-paced digital environment.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $103,000

Location: Seattle, WA

Hybrid schedule available

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Maintain product roadmaps aligned with organizational goals, audience needs and technical capacity.
  • Facilitate prioritization of product initiatives across departments based on business value, audience impact and available resources.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements and ensure successful product outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain product management processes, documentation standards and delivery practices.
  • Champion agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices across product and development teams.
  • Manage Cascade PBS's agile project process for digital products
  • Schedule and lead weekly stakeholder meetings to review progress and align priorities.  
  • Own and manage Jira boards 
  • Collect requirements and lead review and sign-off process for product features, improvements.
  • Scope and estimate work with stakeholders.
  • Help to resolve blockers and facilitate getting things done
  • Pitch in wherever necessary, be it hands-on QA, publishing content via the CMS, etc.
  • Keep management apprised of project status and risk 
  • Act as main communication contact between development team and other internal and external teams
  • Help to build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or retribution, with an emphasis on problem-solving
  • Prepare documentation and training plans for staff (how to use CMS, video platforms, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of Cascade PBS
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Basic knowledge (non-coding) of web languages, best practices and protocols
  • Proven ability to coordinate with in-house tech talent and independent contractors
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies, frameworks and/or programming languages

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management of digital products and services
  • Experience using and configuring project management tools such as Jira required 
  • Experience with a variety of CMS required Scrum master certification a huge plus 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to view data on a computer screen for long periods of time
  • Ability to regularly type on a keyboard 
  • Ability to work some evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
