What You'll Do Day-To-Day
  • Coordinate the complete proposal development, per current Framatome Commercial Excellence process and procedures. 
  • Manage the preparation of bids and tenders, including formal approvals - preparing the required approval forms / process / Delegation of Authority (DOA) - as directed in the Framatome approval process and procedures.
  • Collaborate with business developers and account managers to obtain and clarify customer requirements
  • Solicit all necessary costing information from the necessary stakeholders involved - i.e. : Project Management, Supply Chain / 3rd party buyout components & services, Engineering, QA, Legal, Finance - MOC & cash flow 
  • Create / manage / coordinate proposal development schedule to maintain required bid date deadlines.
  • Rely on the technical expertise provided by the technical domain and solution experts
  • As required, communicate with the customer - phone / email / face to face at site - to review & finalized customer questions & requirements are properly, correctly assimilated in the proposal content.
  • Ensure that bid invest decision, risk assessment before submitting offer, commercial/technical impacts during negotiations, and close the deal are properly executed
  • Ensure Customer compliance and project profitability forecast
  • Write & assimilate the proposal content
  • Stay current on and ensure up to date pricing is used on all company resources and products.
  • Work with Sales and Framatome Management to optimize Gross Margin on project bids
  • Assist Project Managers on Change Orders to existing Projects. Though not requiring all the steps of a formal bid, responsible for verifying costing used and seeking out internal approvals.
  • Participate in handoff from project bid phase to internal kickoff, providing data on bid approach and final pricing
  • Coordinate and lead endtoend proposal development activities in alignment with Framatome Commercial Excellence processes and procedures, applying core projectexecution practices-such as scope definition, schedule management, risk identification, and resource coordination.
  • Serve as the project lead for bid and tender development, managing timelines, stakeholder engagement, deliverables, and formal approval process / Delegation of Authority (DOA) - as directed in the Framatome approval process and procedures.
  • Collaborate with business developers and account managers to gather, validate, and refine customer requirements, ensuring proposed scope aligns with project execution best practices.
  • Gather all technical and commercial inputs from Project Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, QA, Contracts / Legal, Finance, and others.
  • Create / manage / coordinate proposal development schedule, using projectplanning principles to guide stakeholders to meet required bid deadlines.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with proven projectexecution practices.
  • As required, communicate with the customer - phone / email / face to face at site - to review & finalized customer questions & requirements are properly, correctly assimilated in the proposal content.
  • Participate in bid investment decisions, including bid/no-bid evaluations, risk assessments, and commercial/technical impact reviews. Ensure risks, constraints, and dependencies identified during proposals are documented well.
  • Ensure proposals comply with customer requirements, company standards, and project profitability objectives.
  • Develop and refine final proposal content, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency with execution strategy and planned delivery approach for product standardization.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product pricing and resource costs.
  • Work with Sales and Framatome Management to optimize gross margin.
  • Support Project Managers with change orders on existing projects, verifying costs, coordinating inputs, and obtaining required approvals, applying similar practices used during formal bid development.
  • Lead project handoffs from bid phase to internal kickoff, translating proposal assumptions, pricing, risks, and strategy into actionable information for execution teams.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in proposal development, estimating, engineering, project management or business development.

  • Business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Knowledge of the sales process and associated tools (i.e., SPEAK).
  • Prioritizes tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.  
Total Rewards Package
  • Salary: $94,000-$127,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
