Job Summary
University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. is currently seeking an individual for a full-time position as a Mechanical Senior Project Manager located in the San Diego area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Proven project management skills with a minimum of 10 years' experience as a project manager with full mechanical contracting or related construction firms.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial related projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of preconstruction/design-assist experience.
  • Proven experience in management of healthcare, data center, lab, higher education and semi-conductor projects. Contract value range of $15M-200M.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience working with job sites in healthcare is preferred.

Computer Skills
Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs
  • Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Viewpoint
