We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.
Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid - large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.
We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we'll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.

Job Description

Client operates a high-traffic digital properties (websites, apps) that serve e-commerce and self service support goals and contain vast amounts of sales products and online self service support content. 
The Digital Ops Site Search Team is tasked with optimizing the search function online on Client's' websites. The position would contribute to operation of internal search and permanently adjust search to meet needs of ISO stakeholders. Position is not centered around SEM/SEO. 
Tasks 
Track usage of site search 
- Numerical/Stats 
- Semantically 
- Correlations (compare with extended stats from Analytics) 
Solid understanding of E-Commerce Search mechanisms and use cases 
Taking actions according to findings from prior task (reacting to trends) 
Documentation to establish proactive search tasks (anticipate seasonalities etc.) 
Monitor keywords and result sets returned by search engine 
Adjust synonym tables according to usage patterns and nature of content 
Cooperate with business partners about content strategy 
Building and advising a search centric content taxonomy (different areas) 
Ensure accurate site search results for ad-hoc and short term events 
Work with creative to produce search banners 
Skills 
Experience in internet/portal/intranet search and operating principles of search engines 
Knowledge about how search engines process content and user queries 
Experience in guided navigation, operational principle around faceted search 
Knowledge around search design patterns 
Knowledge around search user patterns (e-commerce, content discovery) 
Knowledge of synonym relationships and usage 
Experience in relevancy ranking methodology/ relevance tuning for search
