Key Responsibilities
Content creation: 50%
• Develop and write strategic, clear, concise and engaging content for MUSC Catalyst News and other enterprise channels
• Pitch story ideas and produce assigned stories while managing multiple projects
• Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to gather accurate information
Editorial management: 25%
• Edit, proofread and refine content produced by internal teams and contributors to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency
• Ensure all content aligns with enterprise brand voice, tone and editorial standards
• Provide constructive editorial feedback to improve quality across platforms
• Coach contributors on writing and editing best practices to elevate enterprise content quality

• Assist with content publishing and coordination with digital and creative teams through our web platform Sitecore
• Use AI tools to draft, edit, summarize and optimize content workflows

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

• Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible language
