Job description

Join the Nalley Consulting team as a Content Editor.

Position: Content Editor

Location: JBAB, Washington, DC

LCAT: Mid

Required clearance and polygraph: Active TS/SCI and current CI poly conducted within the past seven years

Required experience and education: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience.

Description
  • Analyze and evaluate products through technical editorial support.
  • Ensure administrative and production requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, military policy, strategy and doctrine and their operating environments are met.
  • Read and evaluate intelligence products and ensure defense tradecraft standards are met.
  • Evaluate for inconsistencies of thought, development, or organization, and confer with authors to recommend treatment of material.
  • Perform reorganization, cut, or rewrite, as necessary, and edit copy.
Required qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with editing and written document production
  • 3+ years of experience with intelligence productionTS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
Desired qualifications
  • Experience with defense tradecraft standards
  • Knowledge of foundational military intelligence and military capabilities
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Area Studies, or Communications.
