Job description

Supply-Content Specialist

Project Expedition, a rapidly growing travel company, is seeking a Supply-Content Specialist to join our Supplier Partnerships Team. This role is focused on onboarding new Tour Operators and suppliers, ensuring they are successfully launched and positioned for long-term success on our platform. If you enjoy building relationships, managing complex projects, working cross-functionally, and helping partners grow, this could be a great fit.

The right candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple onboarding projects simultaneously. You will serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers throughout the onboarding process, helping them navigate content requirements, technical setup, and platform best practices. This is a hands-on role that combines relationship management, content quality, operational execution, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Support supplier onboarding from initial engagement through activation

  • Manage the onboarding process for assigned suppliers, ensuring a smooth and efficient launch experience

  • Follow established onboarding processes, playbooks, and documentation to maintain consistency and quality

  • Track and achieve onboarding KPIs, including time to launch, activation rates, and content quality standards

  • Coordinate onboarding activities across multiple internal teams

Build and maintain supplier relationships

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers throughout onboarding and early-stage development

  • Provide guidance, training, and best-practice recommendations to help suppliers succeed on the platform

  • Respond to supplier questions and proactively address onboarding challenges

  • Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining a positive supplier experience

Manage content onboarding and quality assurance

  • Review supplier content to ensure it meets platform standards and quality expectations

  • Optimize product descriptions, inclusions, meeting points, imagery, and other content for conversion

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews before products go live

  • Partner with suppliers to resolve content gaps and improve overall product quality

Support technical onboarding and integrations

  • Work closely with Supply Operations and technical teams to support supplier integrations

  • Assist with onboarding-related technical tasks and connectivity validation

  • Troubleshoot day-to-day onboarding issues and identify whether they are operational or technical in nature

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently

Contribute to process improvement and reporting

  • Identify onboarding bottlenecks and opportunities to improve efficiency

  • Recommend updates to onboarding workflows, documentation, and playbooks

  • Track supplier onboarding performance and share insights with the broader team

  • Support initiatives that improve supplier activation, content quality, and long-term supplier success

Leverage AI to optimize and automate repetitive tasks and processes

Work Schedule:

We are looking to hire for the Tues-Sat shift for this role.

The ideal candidate:

  • 2-4 years of experience in supplier onboarding, account management, operations, content management, or a similar role

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Comfortable managing multiple onboarding projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with both operational and technical teams

  • Basic understanding of how APIs deliver pricing, availability, and content into a platform

  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data across multiple systems and CRMs

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Marketplace, e-commerce, or travel industry experience is preferred

  • Fluent in English with strong written communication skills

Benefits include:

  • Annual company bonus (up to a total of $3,000, based on company targets - deferred eligibility)

  • 15 days of leave (increases to 20 days at 2 years tenure)

  • Company Healthcare Plan (Company contribution $9K with 2 completely covered plans)

  • 401K company plan

  • Annual work from home budget $500

  • Annual training budget of $250

  • TSA PreCheck (worth $80)

  • Annual Project Expedition tour credits of $750

  • Employee discounts on thousands of tours and activities

Additional Information:

While we're excited to grow our team across the U.S., we're currently unable to hire employees residing in California or New York.

Please note that while this is a remote position, it is not suitable for digital nomads. Employees must be based in the United States and will have an allocation of time that they can work remotely in other destinations.

Project Expedition is growing quickly, and this role will likely evolve over time. You'll have the opportunity to play a direct role in expanding our supplier network and shaping the onboarding experience for new partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating great experiences for both suppliers and customers.

Compensation Range: $45K - $50K
