Position Title: Marketing Representative

Location: Salem, VA (with travel; also hiring for Poca, WV)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing Representative to support our marketing, business development, and strategic growth initiatives. This position blends marketing, proposal development, graphic design, digital media, technical writing, and business development into one dynamic role.
The Marketing Representative will work closely with leadership and technical staff to create compelling marketing materials, develop winning proposals and qualifications packages, promote the company's people and projects, and strengthen our brand across multiple platforms. This position plays a key role in helping grow the business through strategic marketing, client-focused communications, and pursuit support.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Brand Development:
Design brochures, advertisements, flyers, presentations, social media graphics, and other marketing materials.
Maintain consistency with company branding across all communications.
Develop promotional items, recruiting materials, and event marketing collateral.
Maintain and organize marketing assets, project photography, resumes, and project descriptions.
Proposal Development & Business Development:
Lead or assist with preparation of proposals, statements of qualifications, prequalification packages, and interview presentations.
Develop compelling technical narratives in collaboration with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts.
Coordinate proposal schedules, compliance requirements, and submission deadlines.
Maintain proposal databases, content libraries, project profiles, and staff resumes.
Digital Marketing & Communications:
Create engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, and digital advertising campaigns.
Write and edit project descriptions, announcements, articles, and recruiting materials.
Support internal communications and company-wide marketing initiatives.
Assist with website updates and content management.
Photography & Videography:
Capture professional photography of projects, employees, and company events.
Produce and edit videos highlighting projects, recruiting efforts, and company culture.
Maintain the company's digital photo and video library.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, project managers, executives, and field personnel to gather project information and marketing content.
Support recruiting efforts, trade shows, conferences, community outreach, and client events.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements
    • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, English, Business, or a related field.
